Hello, I'm Maddy and I am an illustrator and designer based in South Devon. I completed my degree in Graphic Arts in 2009, and after spending 7 years in retail management, I have come back to what I love best after designing my own wedding stationery in 2015.

The name Rose & Beau comes from my middle name ‘Rose’ and my lovely dogs name ‘Beau’ (he is pictured below!).

My love is illustration, and with that I've brought it into all elements of my work. I specialise in still life, particulary florals and nature, taking inspiration from hedgerows and the countryside. I work in pen and ink, and pencils. I have always loved whimsical illustrations, and growing up loved books by Shirley Hughes and Brambly Hedge, which really inspired my way of drawing today.

I have establised a set of 'House Collection' wedding stationery, with more in the pipeline. I also offer a bespoke service, so if there was a particular theme you wanted I would love to work with you to really make your wedding special!
